Pine Street Auto Repair has been fixing cars on Spokane’s South Hill since 2005. Master technician Dave Kowalski opened the shop so drivers could get honest repairs without the dealership price. Dave still works in the bays, and the way the shop runs has not changed: diagnose the fault, show the driver, and let them decide.

    Oil change

    Synthetic blend oil, a new filter and a 27-point inspection. The inspection is how small problems get caught before they become expensive ones.

  • N° 02

    Brake pads

    Brake pads per axle, with the rotors checked at the same time. Pads are quoted by axle because they do not wear evenly.

  • N° 03

    AC service

    Leak test and recharge. An AC that blows warm often has a slow leak, so a recharge without a leak test tends to lose its cool again.

  • N° 04

    Check engine diagnosis

    $120

    Scan, test and written findings. A warning light can mean anything from a loose fuel cap to a failing sensor, so the code is a starting point, not the repair.

    Tire rotation and balance

    $60

    All four tires rotated and balanced. Uneven wear often points to alignment, so we check it while the wheels are off.

    We scan, test and inspect, then photograph every worn part we find.

  3. You get photos and a written estimate

    We send you the photos and a written estimate by phone, so you see the fault and the price before anything is touched.

  4. You approve, we repair

    Nothing is fixed until you approve the estimate. Once you do, we carry out the work and cover it with a 24-month, 24,000-mile warranty.
